At Dragonfly Saddlery we are members of the Society of Master Saddlers ~ sell saddles along with other equestrian equipment ~ clothing from our shop in Ditchling, Sussex. Some of the brands we stock include Fieldhouse, Lovat and Ricketts (L& R saddles), Pessoa, Prestige, Stubben, Jeffries and synthetic saddles from Thorowgood. We sell matching bridles, reins, martingales, stirrup leathers and girths. As trained saddlers we are also able to repair all saddlery and bridleworlk advise on fitting of all saddles and bridles. We are happy to come out to you for saddle fitting of new, secondhand and synthetic saddles and are happy to bring a selection of saddle accessories and bridles also. Areas covered include Sussex, Surrey, parts of Kent, Hampshire and London. As members of the Society of Master Saddlers, we are happy to adhere to their code of conduct for your peace of mind. We can also take saddle templates for the hard to fit horse at no extra cost. Numnahs, saddle cloths and saddle pads also available including Prolite.

We cater for all sizes of horses and ponies from leading rein Shetlands whose tiny riders love the Thorowgood Cub saddle to big competition horses looking for a dressage saddle from Prestige or a beautiful Pessoa jumping saddle. RII bridgework is also available to match.

You do not have to own a horse or pony to shop at Dragonfly Saddlery. We give a warm welcome to all riding school clients or people who are just going on a riding holiday and need to be kitted out, but are not sure what to wear! With our good selection of jodhpurs and breeches from Shires Saddlehuggers, Tally Ho, Phoenix and Equetech we can fit every one from age 2 upwards. We stock short and long riding boots from Loveson, Tuffa, Mountain Horse, Harry Hall Stylo Starts and Belstane Tyne Boots. For spectating or around the stable yard, choose from Splashers, Hunter Wellies or Belstane Muck boots. Protect your head with the help of our range of riding hats and skull hats from Charles Owen and Just Togs JYE SJ hats. AII our riding hats are fitted by fully qualified professional hat fitters and all meet the top British standard and are approved for both Pony Club use and competitions. Add some funky socks, gloves and jackets from Horseware and Shires and you will be ready for any event. If you are going to an event then check out our Cross Country tops with matching hat silks first or maybe a smart show or hacking jacket is what you need. We have those as well.

If you are jumping then check out our body protectors also. We carry a range from Airowear, Rodney Powell, Cobra, Hows Racesafe and are fully qualified body protector fitters.

Don't forget your horse will need those essential items such as coolers, turnout rugs, quilted stable rugs, travel boots, brushing boots, tendon boots, over-reach boots, headcollars, ropes, grooming kit, feed bowls, water buckets. Choose from Horseware - Rambo, Rhino and Amigo, Shires­ - Typhoon, Stormbreaker, Eskadron NEW Equine wear, Sportabac and Thermatex.
